Regular reader Ginger (thanks, Ginger!) left a comment in the post below lamenting the fact that while at BOTRWAT (as dubbed by Suzanne) we homage-d Michael Jackson, RIP, we completely overlooked lovely Farrah, who also passed away on BOTRWAT day.
Fear not, Ginger. We didn't overlook Farrah, as evidenced above by Suzanne, Donna-Maria and yours truly. I just overlooked the photo when I was posting today.
RIP, Farrah Fawcett. She fought the good fight, and we lost one of the world's great beauties.
I wonder whatever happened to that red swimsuit.

I heart you Mare Mare and Suzanne!
Aww- Thanks, you guys! I was away with some emo drama on the home-front, so I didn't get to this right away. As odd as it sounds, that shout-out perked me right the heck up in a way two tacos, a candy-bar, a Mt. Dew, and a buttload of popcorn while shoe-shopping on ebay couldn't. It's been a rough day, for like, two weeks.
I mainly wanted to plug for Farrah because she unflinchingly took such a raw, fearless dive into the unsexy, ugly, painful dark side of herself to better communicate to us what cancer is and does to us and our loved ones beyond the obvious physical destruction. It motivated people to look at research, treatment, and funding thereof differently, even if the media didn't think it was 'pretty enough' to sell ads around.
That, and tough chicks kick ass, even with cheesy dialogue and questionable plot loopholes! Girl Power trumps all!
PS- If I were four sizes smaller, I would be mugging you for that print-skirt. I have the jewelry and shoes to match it... and yes, I bought THEM before I actually bought any clothes to match it... DUH. (But they were spaaarkly!)
I think I mis-formatted. If that came through weird or patchy, I always type in notepad, edit for moronry, then paste after corrected. Yes, geeky, I know.
