Our iList Paducah current iDates of the Week, Kara McCombs and David Szemeredy offered sneak servings of sushi from Jasmine this past Saturday at Roof Brothers Wine and Beer Tasting. Jasmine is the fab Thai restaurant in Murray that's opening in Paducah at Jordan's Crossing next week. I'm swiping this EXCELLENT photo from Suzanne. She did a sweet post on it, along with a quite insightful piece on the whole Jon & Kate Plus 8 break up. Suzanne's been writing about that couple quite a bit lately. And while I've only caught seconds of the show, I'm much more interested in Suzanne's take on it all than I am in the show, itself. Suzanne should be hired to help write it. (Or maybe rewrite it.)
Anyway, back to Jasmine. The official opening is 4 p.m., Thursday, July 9. DJ Urban Kobbb will be the man behind the music, and Kara and David (they're doing all the PR) will make sure everyone has a great time — and more sushi!
Jasmine is also doing a fun benefit at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, for the Paducah Arts Alliance. Stay tuned for more details on that!
