Bruce Brockenborough joined us all on Facebook a week or two ago. And as part of his page, he indicated that he and I are hitched. Evidently, Facebook didn't believe him, so they sent me the above message. Sorry it's so small, but it says: "Bruce said on Facebook that you two are married. We need you to confirm that you are, in fact, married to Bruce."
I had to laugh because of all the great parts of my happy, happy life, being married to Bruce Brockenborough is, no doubt, my VERY FAVORITE THING. EVER. So I was absolutely thrilled to confirm that little piece of information.
After I clicked to confirm, another message popped up that said something like: "This is your last relationship request."
And I'm all, right on! But wow, how do they know? Is Facebook predicting people's marriage success rates now?
I appreciate the vote of confidence, Facebook Team! No more relationship requests? For that I say: Thank the Good Lord and AMEN. It took a little extra time, but I'm very thankful that I got just the one relationship request that I was hoping for.
